As we stated in the previous post on Purpose and Core Values, ‘Core values are the traits or characteristics that we value most and will not compromise on so as we move through life, having this knowledge of self positions us for success.’
We’ve just witnessed this first hand as Bavubuka Dynasty, Merita Movement Entrepreneur Ras Kasozi brought home the award for Best Fashion Designer at last nights Fashion and Style Awards in Uganda. Upon his visit to Vancouver to showcase his Urban Indigenous collection he stated the desire for his hometown of Kampala to recognize his work the same enthusiasm Vancouver had.
Kasozi says, “Belief in God also means believing in yourself to accomplishing anything you can dream. With God we can do anything.”. With his set of core values and purpose defined it will be that much easier to keep his eyes set on all of his future aspirations.
The Merita family would like to say a big CONGRATULATIONS for this achievement.
